Microsoft silently updating our computers without consent
Mikey 2 commentsIt's a pretty scary thought, but today there is evidence to support claims that Microsoft are silently deploying updates to our computers without our permission.
Adrian Kingsley-Hughes blogged his suspicions yesterday and today came forward with what he claims is actual proof. Said Kingsley-Hughes:
"I can now confirm that the stealth Windows Update that I blogged about yesterday actually exists - because I've detected its presence on a machine at the PC Doc HQ."

Saturday 15th September 2007 | 12:00 AMApparently is and update of the windows update software and if not installed windows would no longer be able to update. (If that makes sense). Although I still don't agree with the way they did it, or the lack of users awareness.
