CoS may stand trial for shady business practices
Mikey 2 commentsI've ever only had one experience with Scientologist's and it wasn't pretty, so this news comes as no surprise. A prosecutor is recommending the U.S. Church of Scientology stand trial for fraud and extortion.
As well as the U.S., a probe has revealed the European office conducted unlawful practices in medicine, violated privacy laws and used illegal business contracts.
An administrative court will decide if to go ahead and press charges against the 12 unidentified people accused.
