Mikey no commentsIt's amazing how things come around full circle. Today we have better web technologies, eye candy and faster connectivity to make browsing better, but the truth is more designers are realising less is more as CSS has become the de-facto standard for constructing web pages.
On top of that, accessibility practices are slowly making ground into the designer's work flow. Have a look at how this very web page you are reading right now renders without the CSS (the stuff that makes it look good), which is how a screen reader sees this site (for people with visual and or mobility impairment). It doesn't look much different to the pages shown in the video below.
That aside, this video would have been mind-blowing to anyone watching it in 1994. Does anyone know what browser that is?
