75 year old Granny pwns residential Internet speed record
Mikey 12 commentsAt forty gigabits per second (yes, 40 and yes gigabits) a 75 year old woman from Sweden has made history by becoming the fist person at a residential location to have an internet connection at such an insane speed.
With this connection, Sigbritt Lothberg can watch 1500 High Definition TV channel simultaneously, or download a full high definition DVD in about 2 seconds.
No word yet on how she pings when playing Counter Strike, but theoretically she would have a negative value making her the first gamer to be technically fragging in the future.

Haha yes. I think 40gigabits/second converts roughly into 60 Lothbergs/second

Sunday 30th March 2008 | 04:35 AMwhy would she theoretically have a negative ping? you get a positive ping even when connecting over LAN.
also bandwidth doesn't decrease ping...
Obviously...
