BIUTIFUL with Javier Bardem
Friendo 4 commentsBiutiful (2010) A man in free fall.
This is a story of a man in free fall. On the road to redemption, darkness lights his way. Connected with the afterlife, Uxbal is a tragic hero and father of two who's sensing the danger of death. He struggles with a tainted reality and a fate that works against him in order to forgive, for love, and forever.
Well, here he is again, Javier Bardem (Anton Chigurh, from No Country for Old Men), in what looks to me like another killer movie. Already standing at an 8.7/10 on IMDb, with only 142 votes. (Of course with only this few votes, it could go anywhere.) Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu who also directed Babel, 21 Grams, and Amores Perros (one of my all time top five).
Check out the trailer, and if needed, watch it a couple times. It looks pretty intense to me. This has to be a winning combination, with Javier Bardem, and Alejandro González Iñárritu, this could be quite explosive.
Sadly, living in the part of the country I am in, it's a sure bet I will not see this until it gets to Netflix...Enjoy. By the way, if you have seen it, or get to, please comment about it.
