Want Google Wave? I've got 25 invites to give away
Mikey 10 commentsIf you still haven't been officially invited by the Google team to join , don't wait any longer. I've got 25 invites to give away - first come first served.
Just send me a message from my profile page (you'll need to be logged in to see the form) asking for an invite and it's all yours. Be sure to include your email address so I know where to send the invite. You'll need an existing Gmail account to use Wave, so for those who haven't yet got one (both of you) then head over here and get one.
If your invite doesn't arrive immediately then hang tight. My invite form comes with this message from the Wave team:
Google Wave is more fun when you have others to wave with, so please nominate people you would like to add. Keep in mind that this is a preview so it could be a bit rocky at times. Invitations will not be sent immediately. We have a lot of stamps to lick.
Bon appetit.
Update: I have 9 invites remaining.
Let me know if you've found wave of use. With only myself and my wife using it, we can't find the functionality of it. BTW, I've also some invites to pass out.
...in response to this comment by Jim. That's been the general consensus: What to do with Wave? The power is obvious when you start playing with it, but I think you need a handful of people and a lot of time to tap into the real good stuff.
...in response to this comment by Rodney. I've invited a few people already including you. I'm not sure when you will receive it, but the people I invited simply appear under a heading "People you've nominated'
Leave a comment here if you receive anything.
I just sent though another wave of invites to those who applied - sorry for the delay but it's now 6am here and I've just woken up :-)
Anyway, I still have a bunch left.
I'll sucker for this one...

I am riding the wave now and have 7 contacts to play with so far.
Thanks Mikey!
...in response to this comment by Kim OJ. No problem

All working and 'surfed' a few waves already, good stuff - thanks for the invite!
I agree with others that once a lot of people are using the tool it will stand out.
Cheers,
Nige
...in response to this comment by Nige. Any time mate. Thanks for the update too.
