Life rule #64738: Don't leave naked photos of your wife on your phone
Mikey 21 commentsI'm not sure how to categorise this one, but lets just file it under stupidity.
Fast 'food' chain McDonald's is being sued because naked photos of a patrons wife were posted online. How did this happen? Well the genius in question, one Mr Phillip Sherman, actually had naked photos of his wife on his phone, which he accidentally left in the restaurant.
Not only that, but his phone number and address were also posted online which led to the couple having to move to a new neighbourhood to avoid all the stalkers.
Dumbo wants 3 million for his troubles, but I reckon stupidity shouldn't be rewarded.
Pics or it didn't happen
Unless the photos were put up on a McDonalds owned site the case should be thrown out. I can see suing the person that actually did it but to sue the McDonald's franchise is stupid and greedy. Almost as stupid as carrying naked photos of your wife then leaving your phone somewhere for anyone to pick up. Really as long as McDonalds fires the employee they should be in the free and clear.
I'll pay $3.million right now to have sex with that girl on the photo at the top of the article.Hell with the phone and all that other crap.

Tuesday 25th November 2008 | 09:03 AMWho's to say it was an employee that put them online and not another customer
...in response to this comment by Peter. Valid point Peter.
Either way the responsibility falls to the individual that did it, not the restaurant where the guy left the phone.

Wednesday 26th November 2008 | 07:11 AMThis doesn't apply to only married men. That said, I'm never, ever, deleting them!

Thursday 27th November 2008 | 12:07 AMI tried that once except the naked pictures were of me. Instead of being posted online, my phone was promptly returned to me by a McDonalds employee that had gouged his eyes out

jeez in the bad old days of developing and printing at home i still wouldn't take nude photos of anyone!
3 reasons
1) never thought of it
2) what would happen if some interloper other than the subject and the photographer saw it
3) from the absolute dearth of folk who can take a great shot on call, I now have to put up with daily nudes in the media. Then I was a hack photgrapher and couldnt do it justice. I am reminded of this by the hacks that fill our papers, tv screens and pc's. I am a far worse photographer now (dont practice).
Somewhere, just somewhere you would have thought that a guy with a burger brain had a wife who could think for both of them

Tuesday 25th November 2008 | 05:06 AMThough the employee was wrong to put those pictures up on the internet, the patron shouldn't be carrying around nude photos of his wife. They're both equally to blame for this.
