People blinded looking for Virgin Mary in the Sun
Mikey 11 commentsIf I told you to go outside and stare into the sun because you could catch a glimpse of the Virgin Mary, you would say I was insane, right? Well at least 50 people (so far) in India would have believed me, because they have now lost their sight trying to do just that.
Despite a signed warning, and despite local churches saying there is no miracle to be witnessed, morons believers are still going to a hotelier's house in Erumeli where the sighting was said to have happened.
Oh wait a minute! The owner of the hotel also claimed that statues of the Virgin Mary has been weeping honey and perfumes. What more proof does one need?
But seriously, why does common sense always take a back seat to religious superstition?

Would these fuck-tards have walked off a cliff if they were promised a glimpse of the virgin mary?

Wednesday 30th July 2008 | 01:20 PMUnfortunately belief without question is and can be a powerful force. People all over the world want to believe that miracles can happen. It is normally the poorer countries where people of religions believe in the extreme. Faith is all that they have in this life. Even the richer countries have their moments with radical and extreme beliefs. Mass suicides, mass murders, and mass visions of deities - you name it, it all happens in the name of religion. You don't want to kill your fellow man but some person who you have never met says - "we are now at war" so you go out and kill. Not because you want too but because of a belief that has been instilled in you since the day you have been born - defend your home land! The same goes for religion, a thought which has grown with you overtime, wanting; needing to believe in the miraculous. You cannot blame it on education or lack off, you can blame it on how much you want to believe!

Friday 1st August 2008 | 05:43 AMI was always told that masturbation caused blindness and now I find out religion can cause it as well!
Who would have though?
Masturbation and religion must go hand-in-hand.

Wednesday 30th July 2008 | 12:24 PMI'm a Christian but this is one of the dumbest things anyone can do. The idiots who are now blind probably reckon it was part of God's plan too. They give regular Christians like you and me a bad name.
Staring into the sun? For fucks sake. Grow a brain.
