Prince rewards fellow artists with law suit
Mikey 3 commentsPrince, 'the artist formally known as', talentless midget, or what ever name he goes by these days, has slapped 50 recording artists with a law suit because they honoured his 50th birthday by covering his songs in a Prince tribute album.
The artists claim they never made any money from the recordings and therefore don't owe the pint sized star any royalties.
Putting aside for a moment the bad spirit in which this law suite has been filed (at fellow artists who respect his music and wanted to honour him), Shorty might have a point.
Although they may have performed the covers free of charge, any future sales gained as a result of the publicity of the album could be interpreted as making money from the tribute album.
Either way you look at it, I reckon Tiny's actions here are mean spirited, and any bad publicity he gets from it is well deserved.

"...he [Prince] has said that... that only egotistical people take credit for everything they do."
Well! I guess that settles it!
