Donate 30 seconds, and Microsoft will donate to charity
Mikey 7 commentsIf you can spare 30 seconds of your time (and another minute to install the Silverlight plugin - there had to be a catch!), Microsoft will donate one dollar to the The Smith Family, a charity that supports disadvantaged Australian children. At the time of this writing, donations are up to $1068, but Microsoft may donate up to $100,000.
All you need to do is head on over to this page and listen to a 9 year old describe what it's like to use Microsoft Office, and Microsoft will make the donation. Too easy.

Sunday 18th May 2008 | 06:26 PMI have recently made the switch from Microsoft to Linux and I have never been happier. Screw Microsoft. There is no need to be a slave to their poorly created, poorly secured, poorly updated software.
...no I am not bitter.

Sunday 18th May 2008 | 05:23 PMThere's no way what the kid says are "his own words". None the less, I watched it just for the charity aspect and I guess everyone should.
