CoS loses James Packer
Mikey 3 commentsThe 'Church' of Scientology has lost their most prominent and wealthiest member, Australia's own James Packer. Some of the billionaires friends say he has quietly distanced himself from the cult.
I think it's a shame he didn't quit in spectacular style like actor Jason Beghe did a few weeks ago. But it's still good to see an Aussie come to his senses.

He is certainly powerful enough (being the heir to a massive media company) and rich enough to quit in the most spectacular style and remain virtually immune to retribution.
After all, he owns the news....
