CoS loses James Packer

The 'Church' of Scientology has lost their most prominent and wealthiest member, Australia's own James Packer. Some of the billionaires friends say he has quietly distanced himself from the cult.

I think it's a shame he didn't quit in spectacular style like actor Jason Beghe did a few weeks ago. But it's still good to see an Aussie come to his senses.

I didn't even know he was involved with them...

He is certainly powerful enough (being the heir to a massive media company) and rich enough to quit in the most spectacular style and remain virtually immune to retribution.

After all, he owns the news....

Now the biggest aussie advocate for church of suckology is Kate Sebrano... if anything, she hurts the cause!
