Bruce ServicePack and the Vista Street Band

Epic Fail: Words can not describe how utterly, dreadfully embarrassing this official Microsoft Vista promo video is. I mean, they have produced some awful stuff in the past, but what you are about to see not only smacks of self indulgence and propaganda, but will also likely cause on onset of instant nausea. Consider that a warning.

I would rather be Rick Rolled then finish that video which I could not even make it half way through. Please for the love of God I need a Rick roll now to clear this video from my mind.

A little over the top?

I think not. That was damn painful.

Man that's terrible. It's like they found the worst genre of music they could, the worst hacks to bash it out and then found some words that don't fit, rhyme or gell at all.

As for kids knowing who bruce springstein is, I basically don't know who he is and I'm 30. All I know about him is he's clearly a bygone hasbeen sell-out.

Without a doubt, the worst ad I have ever seen. I think I will take my copy of Vista back, just for that

...in response to this comment by Rodney. Rodney seriously you don't know who the Boss is? No I am not talking Tony Danza sitcoms.

Springsteen has actually put out some really good music over the years. I am 34 and my girlfriend is will be 30 this year and she knows who Springsteen is so age is no excuse my good man.

It is because I know the mans work that made this video just that much more painful. I truly wish I could poke out my minds eye after seeing that. I can't get the horrific images and sounds out of my head.

For a smaller company this is like playing a PowerPoint at the end of year work party that makes fun of the boss... usually taking way too much time to create than its worth.

Is this really from Microsoft, or did someone make this to mock them?

...in response to this comment by Gong. Its the real deal - an internal promotional video for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 apparently ‘leaked‘ by an unflattered employee who bluntly called it “stupid”.

...in response to this comment by /\/\@ximus. Actually, MS say it was a "moral booster" internal joke and I am inclined to believe them. They have a history of making internal "stupid" videos, for employees to laugh at, such as the Bill Gates Final Day and the Steve Balmer Steak Knives Offer, etc.

I am 25 and have lived in New Jersey my whole life. Bruce Springsteen is the cultural icon of this state (sad I know). I'm sure it is just a local thing, but on the Jersey Shore, the Boss is a hero to all ages - as much as it pains me to say it. You cannot walk into a bar into the summertime without hearing Seaside Tony's (tools vacationing from New York) and Jersey Girl's belting out 'Glory Days'.
