Toddler beaten to death with video game controller
Mikey 8 commentsSeriously, I don't get it. How can any mother allow this to happen? Two year old Darisabel Baez was beaten to death with a video game controller by her mother's 26 year old boyfriend.
Harve L. Johnson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and other charges. He will will now face additional charges following Baez’s death. Neida Baez admitted to police that her boyfriend had been abusive to her daughter in the past. She is (rightfully) being charged as well with endangering the welfare of a child.
Neida Baez has just made our Good Bad and Ugly Poll, to be clearly categorised in the Ugly category for being an irresponsible parent standing by as her daughter is knowingly abused by her boyfriend.

I can never understand child abuse, especially when it has been going on for a while. There are the usual excuses - she was abused herself as a child or she had low self esteem or she couldn`t escape from her partner, blah blah blah. There is always a way out from an abusive home life. I also don`t understand how she could watch her own child being abused and obviously turning a blind eye - for gods sake - its your own flesh and blood!
I wonder what sort of person would defend the pair of evil bastards in court?

Thursday 10th April 2008 | 05:59 AMThis is totally disgusting. Putting asside the mother's OBVIOUS neglegent attitude and behaivior, how the f*ck does ANYONE beat a child? And to death?
This sickens me to the core. How could anyone do this?
If this guy doesn't get the death penalty, he better not ever see the light of day, ever.
