Youtube idiot gets 3 years

During times when it seems the punishment seldom fits the crime, it's good to see at least one moron get his comeuppance.
Twenty seven year old (the idiot you see pictured left) has been jailed for 3 years for the crime of 'outraging public decency' (I never heard of it either). Earlier this year, Anderson and his pals stumbled upon 58 year old Christine Lakinski, who had collapsed and became comatose.
While a typical good citizen would have called the paramedics, Anderson thought it would be much more fun to throw a bucket of water on her, spray her with shaving cream, and urinate on her while saying "This is YouTube material". They filmed the incident and left her to go nightclubbing.
Lakinski died of pancreatic failure as she lay there. So from all the staff at Rusty Lime, here's wishing Anthony Anderson all the best as he starts his 3 year stint as Ben Dover's cell mate. We hope you get some good Youtube material there.

No, not all youtubers are like that. Millions of people use youtube, not all of them watch shit like that. I go on youtube to watch foreign commercials, music videos and trailers for independent films. Sometimes there are people who put interesting things on there that involve anything from art, science, politics or anything at least half intelligent. Not everyone goes on their to watch people taking a shit.

Remember, this is a woman who was elderly and unconscious. You don't have to be Einstein to understand there is a good chance she could be dying. It is reasonable to expect anyone to make that call and act accordingly. Well, anyone except the brain-dead prat pictured above.
And by deliberately ignoring the urgency of the situation, he may not have directly killed her, but he certainly without any doubt contributed to her death. He had a choice - ignore her obvious distress, or piss on her.
I say three years is apt, and it may be just long enough to rehabilitate someone society doesn't need.

He too was pissed - he'd drunk a litre of wine, half a litre of sherry and had smoked cannabis. The woman was not elderly either - according to some reports she was 58, others as young as 50, so it's not like he saw this frail old lady... but yes, what he did was reprehensible and he looks like a typical hard bastard. But three years - far too harsh.
58 isn't elderly? She suffered from many medical conditions, including a bent spine, so many visible problems that it caused her to be bullied most of her life.
I think she qualifies for both 'frail' and 'old'. And what has that got to do with it anyway?

My point is that that horrible scumbag may have thought she was a middle-aged person who had passed out drunk, rather than a frail, disabled person. Sure he should receive a punishment - a six-month jail term maybe, and community service.

I haven't read anywhere that he kicked her - violence would certainly put a different perspective on things.
He tried to rouse her by pouring a bucket of water over her, bet he thought she was pissed and had passed out from boozing - that's the kind of world he knows.
On a side note: yeah, I know there are some awful social problems in the northeast of England, but not all people behave like that piece of shit and it's no excuse.

Logically, I can see why anyone would think three years would be harsh for someone who didn't cause her to actually die. But I must agree with Mikey on this one. He definitely contributed to her death, so I think the punishment fit the crime.
And the whole "what if" argument has some weight. Like what if it was that a$$hole that has passed out, and I pissed on him. I'm pretty damn sure he would be HOT like fire, and would try to throw the book at me.......

He didn't actually contribute to her death, and I'm guessing that outraging public decency is some archaic law that can be dragged up by the authorities when needed. I am not worried about precedence with this case - it sounds pretty unique. Anyway, the judiciary have given us the all clear to swear like hell at cops after dark on the streets of Sydney (Aus), so outraging public decency must be pretty hard.
