This funky musician was brought to my attention courtesy of treehugger. The Caribbean artist records all his own music (which you can check out here) with solar power. There’s three tracks you can listen to in full on his website.

The first track, Golden Bubble, is funky, catchy and rhythmic. I love this guys voice (not to mention his rather attractive photo)- its so different from mainstream pop. The lyrics are probably the best eco message I’ve heard in a long time without being over bearing- it doesn’t feel like been beaten over the head or made to feel inadequate which some ‘greeny’ songs can sometimes be guilty of.

The second track, First Step, starts slower but soon picks up pace. Its an unusual surprising track. Very addictive. Track three is deep and sexy. All three tracks feel like a steamy Caribbean evening. More please!
